Welcome back to ParentingDad.com!
Octopuses are seriously impressive creatures!
They don’t only have one brain but also in each of their eight arms.
Octopus’s arms have a mind of their own! It’s true!
In fact, about two-thirds of the octopus’s neurons are located in its arms.
This means that the arms can taste, touch, and even move independently without input from the brain.
It’s like having eight little brains controlling different parts of the body!
Depending on the situation, all octopuses’ brains can think for each for themselves or as one when required.
With all these brains around, octopuses are masters of disguise.
They can quickly change the color and shape of their bodies to hide from predators.
They can also use different props to create a shelter in seconds or disappear where no one can follow.
It’s amazing how these creatures can make split-second decisions to outsmart their enemies and survive in their environment.
